Day Boat Hire
FOXY & FOXCUB operate from the bottom of FOXTON LOCKS, at the junction of the GRAND UNION CANAL (Leicester Section) and the MARKET HARBOROUGH ARM. There are 25 miles of beautiful rural canal to cruise on, with no locks.
The boats take a maximum of 12 people (pets welcome) and have enclosed cabins, toilet, sink & small cookers with kettles. A water container is provided on Foxy while Foxcub has both hot & cold running water. Foxcub (37ft) is slightly larger than Foxy (30ft) and also has a full size under the counter fridge and central heating. You can picnic, barbeque on the bank, or visit one of the pubs. A map and guide are provided. The boats are simple to handle and full instruction is given.
Please note that other than a kettle, no other utensils are provided so please make sure you bring your own with you.

All prices are inclusive of VAT and all fuel costs - the only extra is a refundable cash deposit *required on the day of hire. Full payment is required at the time of booking to guarantee availability. Bookings can be made by phone using a credit of debit card.
